Data Deletion Guidelines
Overview
NamazEven is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This document outlines the process for requesting the deletion of your account and associated data.
Account Deletion Process
Prerequisites
- Your account must not have an active subscription
- If you have an active subscription, you must first cancel it through the billing portal
- You must verify your identity through either:
- Your account password (for base plan users)
- A WhatsApp verification code (for WhatsApp plan users)
How to Request Data Deletion
Through the Website
- Log in to your NamazEven account
- Navigate to Profile > Account Settings
- Click on "Request Account Deletion"
- Follow the verification process:
- Email users: Enter your password
- WhatsApp users: Request and enter a verification code
- Read and acknowledge the deletion terms
- Confirm your deletion request
What Gets Deleted
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal information (name, contact details)
- Prayer records and history
- Location data and preferences
- WhatsApp messaging history
- Subscription and payment information
- All associated account data
Deletion Timeline and Process
- Upon confirmation, your account will be scheduled for deletion in 30 days
- During this 30-day period:
- You can cancel the deletion request at any time
- Your account remains deactivated but data is preserved
- After 30 days:
- All data is permanently deleted
- This process cannot be reversed
- No data can be recovered
Important Notes
- The deletion process cannot be undone once completed
- No refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
- We can't have any access to your payment history after data deletion
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use NamazEven services again
- Data deletion requests cannot be expedited
- Backup copies will also be removed from our backup systems
